Monday, 28 August, first day of week 35 in 2017. I visited the Laurea University of Applied Science in another campus called Leppävaara Campus. To get there, I had to take the train, and, on the way, I discovered the Rautatientori Helsinki Railway station. In Leppävaara, I took some time to visit a small Lutheran Church. Back to Helsinki city, in the afternoon, I went to another part of the city where I discovered the Finlandia Palace, the National Finland Museum, the Music Hall, the Art & City Museum, the Parliament of Finland, the Finnish National Gallery, the Kyösti Kallio Statue, a Historical Nature Museum, the Temppeliaukio Church with the Väinämöisen park next to it, a Russian Orthodox Church, and the Hietaranta Beach. In the evening, I went back to the Laajasalo beach with my foster parents to see a second beautiful sunset. The next day, I went for a walk in the Laajasalo area in the forest. I got a bit lost but found amazing places, and I ended up in the Tuulisaari Park. I saw the Aino Acktén Huvila House, and went on the Killingholma Island. Wednesday was our first academic important day. We had an orientation day at Leppävaara campus with the Laureamko Student Association, some other presentations about Finnish culture, and a short language introduction. Of course, we had to go to the next orientation day on Thursday at the second Otaniemi Campus to meet our teacher Anna Nolvi. We finally saw our Business Management class with all 13 Exchange students. We also had the opportunity to meet our Finnish very friendly tutors. We stayed in that group the whole afternoon, and went for an unforgettable bar tour in Kallio.

Friday first September was our second orientation day at the Leppävaara Campus. The Laureamko group organized a city tour game with our tutors. After that game, we met all together with the Leppävaara exchange students at the Baarikärpänen Bar to have some fun with a quiz, and some typical Finnish food tasting. After that, of course, they organized the after party in the dancing club of that same bar. Saturday was a big rest day for me, while Pekka and Hannele were in their cottage house. I had to be in shape for the last day of the week. I went to a Forenom Hostel where two Spanish Boys, Carlos and Javier, and a French one, Gaetan, were waiting for me. We went all together to the Nuuksio park. Our first adventure there went wrong because we didn’t stop at the right place. That’s how we visited a random area close to the park! We were lucky to find very nice views, which, you already know, isn’t that hard in Finland.
